Margaret Akana
Margaret “Tita” Kaopnohiolaokalani Goodwin Akana passed away on October 16, 2013 at her home at the age of 91. She was born on July 9, 1922, in Paliuli, Waimea, Kauai.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Kani Goodwin, Sr. and Margaret Kamala Kamai Goodwin; brothers, William Kani Goodwin Jr.; Lawrence Laulani Goodwin; Robert Hiilei Goodwin; Ellsworth Goodwin; husband, Solomon Maluna Waipa Akana Sr.; sons, Curtis Naninohea Goodwin; Solomon Maluna Waipa Akana Jr.; Norman Kuakini Waipa Akana Sr.; and daughter, Ernestine Kuuleinanio Paliuli Summers.
She is survived by her sister, Elizabeth “Buddy” Kapenakealohaokalana Silva of Kuliouou, Oahu; sons, William Kani Goodwin (Malia) Akana of Kekaha; Stewart Kopa (Layla) Akana of Puhi; Calvin Kealoha (Jeanne) Fu of Hanapepe; daughters, Ellen Leinani (Tony) Blas of Wailua; Carol Haliimaile (Walter) Apana of Anahola; daughter-in-law, Priscilla Akana of Eleele; 24 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Lucy Wright Park, Waimea, Kauai. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., service at 11 a.m., with the celebration to follow.

Andres Gaor
Andres Galicinao Gaor formerly of Kaumakani and Hanapepe, Kauai passes away on November 5, 2013, at Hale Kupuna at the age of 97. He was born on November 30, 1915, in Lanao Bangui Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He was a retired Laborer for Olokele Sugar Company.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Perfecta Dureg Gaor; and his daughter, Emy Gaor Dela Cruz.
He is survived by his two daughters, Cristina (Nick) Jamorabon; Aida Gaor Dolfo; 8 grandchildren; 20 Great grandchildren; 1 Sister, Germana Dureg; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friend may visit with the family on Thursday November 21, 2013, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and again on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 9 a.m. to 9:45 am. Where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe public cemetery.

Orlino Antolin Sr.
Orlino Sagucio Antolin Sr. of Eleele, Kauai passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on October 26, 2013, at his home in Eleele, Kauai at the age 77. He was born on April 6, 1936, in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. He retired from Olokele Sugar Company in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Inocencio and Catalina Antolin; siblings, Ederlina, Juanito and Ofelia Antolin, and son in law, Garrick Nakaahiki.
He is survived by his wife, Esperanza Antolin; Four daughters, Oriente Nakaahiki; Rosaly (Frank) Domenden; Leoni (Allan) Texeira; Imelda (Paul) Delos Reyes; one son, Orlino (Ivy) Antolin, Jr.; Three brothers, Rene (Tessie) Antolin; Oscar (Nelita) Antolin; Cezar (Adoracion) Antolin; Two sisters, Clemencia Calumag; Edna (Robert) Garvida; 10 Grandchildren, Shanette (Jason) Dias, Ashley Nakaahiki, Justin (Irene) Michaud, Christine (Rey) Grande, Joscelynn (Gino) Jarquio, Joni (Devin) Texeira, Dawn Texeira, Jenna Antolin, Robbyn Delos Reyes, Trey Delos Reyes; 9 Great Grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9 to 10:45 a.m. Where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Kalapaki Bay Memorial Park.

Agnes Blackstad
Agnes Billie “Nana” Blackstad of Lawai, Kauai passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 13, 2013, at the age of 92. Born in Honokaa, Hawaii on March 4, 1921, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alec “Sonny” Blackstad and baby granddaughter, Alisa Blackstad.
She is survived by sons, Michael (Sharon) Blackstad; Ronald (Loretta) Blackstad; Payne “Leo” (Sybil) Blackstad; Gerald “Jack” (Amy) Blackstad; daughters, Alexa (Wayne) Samio; Aleta (Edwin Jr.) Fu; Sister-in-law, Marie Payne; Grandchildren, Michele (Sean) Chong; Bill (Leo) Blackstad; Kevin (Adrianne) Blackstad; Kris Blackstad; Malia (Doug) Freitas; Kaleo (Mariko Imamura) Caires; Brian (Enjo Rapozo-Hoskins) Perreira; Kyle (Wailana) Blackstad; Brydan (Jana) Blackstad; Byron Perreira; Chantel Blackstad, Toni-Ann Samio; Moku (Kahale) Blackstad; Tyron (Tasha Kamanuwai) Samio; Tessa (Jeffrey Silva) Samio and Kekai (Leinaala Ah Yo) Blackstad; 33 great-grandchildren;10 hanai great-grandchildren; 4 great-great grandchildren.

Reva Stiglmeier
Reva Violet Stiglmeier of Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away surrounded by her family at her home on October 30, 2013, at the age of 96. She was born in Livonia, Missouri on March 31, 1917. She was an elementary school teacher in Los Angeles, California, before she retired and moved to Kaua’i.
Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Herman John Stiglmeier.
She is survived by her son, Albert Warren (Cathy) Stiglmeier of Omao, Hawaii; daughter, Ann Reva (Leon) Matthews of Fair Oaks, California; grandchildren, Lisa Ann Cervantes; Mark Alan Stiglmeier; Ryan Makaio Stiglmeier; and Caitlin Elena Stiglmeier; great-grandchildren, Erica Melia Stiglmeier; Kylie Alani Stiglmeier; Gabriel Simmons; and Sadie Rhea Stiglmeier; by her sister, Myrna Frances (Mel) Powell of Citrus Heights, California; numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ian Isami Ishikawa
Ian Isami Ishikawa passed away on November 3, 2013, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 55. Born on June 7, 1958, in Chicago, Illinois, he was an Entrepreneur.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Ishikawa.
He is survived by his son, Claven Hasegawa of Hanapepe; mother, Takako Ishikawa; brothers, Wade (Grace) Ishikawa of Hanapepe and Robert (Donna) Ishikawa of Hanapepe; sister, Lynn (Craig) Hayashi of Hanapepe; two grandchildren; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services were held. Scattering of ashes at a later date.

Steven Tavares
Steven Tavares of Kalaheo, Kauai, Hawaii passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on November 17, 2013, at the age of 68. He was born on Kauai on December 18, 1944. He was a retired fire fighter for the County of Kauai.
He was preceded in death by parents, Manuel and Elizabeth Tavares.
He is survived by wife, Isabelle Tavares, Kalaheo; sons, James (Serina) Tavares, Kalaheo; Christopher (Jeanie) Tavares, Wailua; daughter, Jennifer (Jesse) Pasag, Kalaheo; grandchildren, Shawn Tavares; Tanner Tavares; Connor Tavares; Shelbee Tavares; Chloe Tavares; Leila Pasag.

Lillian Cramer
Lillian Marie Cramer of Lawai, Kauai passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on November 9, 2013, at the age of 81. She was born on Kauai in Kukuiula on November 22, 1931. She is retired as a Medical Records Technician from Wilcox Memorial Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Juanito and Cecilia Morris; sisters, Katherine Morris and Shirley Morris.
Lillian is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Cramer; sons, Brian Cramer and Lloyd Cramer; 2 grandchildren; brother, John Philip Morris; sister, Constance Ramkissoon; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, November 22, 2013, at Lawai Valley Seventh Day Adventist Church with visitation starting at 12 p.m. and services from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe at 3:30 p.m. For those attending, there will be a potluck lunch following Saturday church services on November 23, 2013, at Lawai Valley SDA church in her honor. Kozue Kimata
Kozue Kimata of Eleele, Kauai passed away on October 27, 2013, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waimea Kauai at the age of 105. Born on February 2, 1908, in Wahiawa, Kauai, she was a sales clerk at K. Kimata Store.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kiyoshi Kimata.
She is survived by her two sons, Dr. George (Mamie) Kimata of Honolulu, HI and Herbert (Jane) Kimata of Hanapepe, HI; three daughters, Nobuko Kimata of Eleele, HI, Esther Kimata of Mililani, HI, and Margaret Ueunten of Aiea; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Catherine “Caty” Wilson of Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on November 14, 2013, at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. He was born on March 29, 1925, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a housewife.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Catherine Wilson; husband, Martin Wilson, Sr.
She is survived by sons, Leslie (Ruth) Wilson, Virginia; Martin “Butch” (Jo Ann) Wilson, Oahu; Herman “Moke” (Arcenia) Wilson, Puhi; Charles “Aka” (Julie) Wilson, New Mexico; daughter, Lanis “Ann” Wilson, Indiana; hanai son, Mike (Lani) Kelly, Oahu; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
