Elaine Isoda of Koloa passed away on October 12, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Born on July 25, 1933 in Hanamaulu, Kauai. She was a retired secretary for Sears Roebuck.
Preceded in death by her parents, Tadashi “Doc” Iwamoto and Kameyo “Pearl” Iwamoto; and brother Melvin Iwamoto, Sr.
She is survived by her husband Stanley “Blackie” Isoda; son Gordon Isoda of Lihue; daughter Sheila Isoda of Koloa; sister Laureta Kamehiro of Oahu; and a grandson.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 14, 2013, at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 9 a.m. Service will begin at 10 a.m.
