Robert Holt, of Got Game Rental, was having a blast at the Nightmare in Waimea Haunted Village Sunday evening. His most popular game was the “Frog Launch,” although the kids called it the hammer game, and he even had some kids going crazy at a magic balloon station.
Patrick Jones, Tate Bergus, and Rachel Jones were dressed to the max for their trip through the Haunted House (who was brave enough for the 6 p.m. show?), and Jennifer Macalma and Edrie Visitacion were busy helping with the Waimea Jr. ROTC (Major Victor Aguilar had a super busy weekend).
Earlier in the day, there was an overflow crowd at the Clem Gomes Gym, where Sherri Ephan, the cheer coordinator for the Kauai Pop Warner Football League, hosted the islandwide cheer championships.
Gayle Thompson (she was busy at the Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School Media Class craft fair Saturday) did a great job hosting the event with Westcon representative Mel Rapozo.
