Healing Horses Kauai is a nonprofit dedicated to improving the physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being of Kauai’s youth and disabled community through equine-assisted activities and therapies.
HHK is developing a new community riding facility on 15 acres of land on the Wailua end of the Kapaa Bypass Road.
Phelps will talk about the activities and history of the organization, and how the horses and volunteers are benefiting Kauai.
W-KNA Secretary Sid Jackson said she hopes residents will attend and learn about something good that is happening in Kauai.
