The seven points by Keahi GU10 places it in a tie with Futsal Kauai A GU10 who enjoyed a bye Sunday, the Futsal team touting a 2-0-1 record for its seven points and a tie for second in the Girls Under 10 division.
Adriana Hernandez scored for the Kalaheo Fire GU10 and Jaycelin Ladera answered for the Futsal Kauai B GU10 as the two teams battled to a 1-1 stalemate.
The Kalaheo Fire tie improves the team to 1-2-1 and four points while the Futsal Kauai B squad holds a 0-3-1 and one point in the standings.
10 Under Boys
Jordan Andres and Jayden Celebrado notched goals for the Lihue Arsenal BU9 in its 2-1 win over the Rush BU10, Makalapua Ventura getting the goal for the Rush.
The Lihue win improves the team to 2-2 and six points, a tie with Makani BU10, while the Rush BU10 drops to 0-4.
Makani BU10 is 2-2 after being blanked by the NS Nation FC BU10, 4-0.
The NS Nation FC BU10 win preserves the team’s undefeated record at 4-0 and 12 points to lead the Under 10 Boys division.
12 Under Girls
Myla McKeague set the pace for the Futsal Kauai GU12 team, who took both ends of a double-header over the Lihue Cougars GU11.
McKeague got the credit for Futsal’s first 2-0 win and Victoria Hennessy and Hailey Overmyer getting goals in the second 2-0 win over the Cougars GU11.
With the win, Futsal Kauai GU12 improves to 3-0-1 and 10 points while the Lihue Cougars GU11 drop to 1-2-1 with four points.
The NS Nation FC GU12, drawing a bye Sunday, sits at 0-2.
12 Under Boys
Kane Casillas, Jonathan Hine and Conor Hunt each scored two goals apiece to lead Team Onipaa ’02 Boys BU12 to its 10-0 shutout over the Rush BU12.
Adding to the leaders’ efforts, Kassidie Bukoski, Mason Hunt, Whitney Lugo and Ethan Yamamoto found the net for a goal each to round out the Onipaa BU12 win.
The win preserves the team’s undefeated record at 3-0 for nine points while the Rush BU12 drop to 0-3.
Another Team Onipaa, the ’03 Boys BU11 got two goals from Carlos Lang and a score from Kylie Sugahara in its 3-1 edge over the NS Nation FC BU12 who got a goal from Noa Harrison.
The NS win puts the NS Nation FC BU12 in a tie with the Team Onipaa ’02 Boys BU12 with a 3-1 record and nine points.
The NS Nation FC BU12 drop to 1-1-1 and has four points.
Keahi BU12, enjoying the day off, sits at 0-2-1 and one point.
14 Under Girls
Aiyanah Walker had two goals to lead the Rush GU14 to a 6-2 win over the Team Onipaa GU14, the first of its double-header win. Other scorers in the win included April Barnes, Kylin Nebre, Cambria Ort and Kaya Ramirez.
Kassidie Bukoski and Kalia Shimabukuro netted goals for the Team Onipaa GU14.
Ort came back for a hat trick, or three goals scored, in the Rush GU14 second win, 5-1, over Team Onipaa GU14.
Barnes and Natalie Devin rounded out the win with a goal apiece while Bukoski notched the Onipaa GU14 goal.
The double-header win preserves the Rush GU14 undefeated record at 4-0 for 12 points while Team Onipaa GU14 drops to 0-4.
The NS Nation FC GU14 also posted a double-header win, taking the Holoholona Strikers GU14, 2-0 behind goals from Brianna Binder and Soleil Errico, Binder netting two goals to lead the 4-0 win in the second match.
Asher Mangold and Vanessa Rubel added to Binder’s lead in the second game which improved the team’s standing to 2-1-1 and seven points, a tie with Pohaku GU14 (2-0-1).
Holoholona Strikers GU14 drop to 1-4 for three points.
14 Under Boys
The Rush North BU14 also posted a double-header win over the NS Nation FC BU 14.
Joshua Layaoen led the Rush North with two goals in its 5-3 edge over the NS Nation FC BU14 in the first victory, getting help from Emiliano De La Mora, Samuel Johnson and Kyle Leibow who scored a goal apiece.
Brandon Beydoun netted two goals for the NS Nation FC BU14 with Lucas Anakalea rounding out the effort.
Tutearii Tuturu netted a hat trick to take the lead for the Rush BU14 in its second win, 6-1, with Leibow adding two goals and De La Mora getting a net.
Ezekiel Gates Anakalea netted the sole score for NS Nation FC BU14.
The double-header win keeps the NS Nation FC BU14 undefeated record intact at 3-0 and nine points, a tie with the NS Nation FC BU14 who finish with a 3-2 record and nine points.
Another Rush team, the Rush BU14, split its double-header with Keahi BU14, winning its opener 4-2 behind a hat trick from Ryan Yavinsky and a goal from Nico Maione.
Shayden Duldulao and Bingem Pellin did the scoring for Keahi BU14 in its opening effort.
Nicholas Semblante netted two goals and Vincent Altomare added a score for Keahi BU14 in its 3-1 win over the Rush BU14, Maione adding the Rush BU14’s sole goal.
Following the split twinbill, both the Rush BU14 and Keahi BU14 are tied with 1-3 records and three points.
Team Onipaa ’00 Boys BU14, getting the bye, round out the standings at 1-1 and three points, a tie with the Rush BU14 and Keahi Bu14.
Under 16 Boys and Under 18 Girls teams enjoyed the day off.
Rush North White BU16 (3-0) lead the Under 16 Boys division followed by Rush North Blue BU16 (1-1) and Keahi BU16 (0-3).
