LIHUE — When the maile was untied Wednesday, the Kauai office became the eighth blessing in four years celebrated by the Hawaii Group.
With more and more of Kauai’s small businesses utilizing the umbrella services of the HiGroup, it was time to have a place where its clients could go and deal with faces, said Matt Delaney, Chief Executive Officer of the HiGroup.
The HiGroup offers a variety of services including accounting, human resources, employment services, health care, and marketing under its HiGroup umbrella, symbolized in its logo with eight petals representing the eight Hawaiian Islands.
Located in Suite 213 of the Lihue Plantation building at 2970 Kele Street in Lihue, an overflow crowd welcomed the new office, which was blessed and dedicated by Kahu Curt Kekuna, who has officiated at the opening of all of HiGroup’s offices in Hawaii and on the Mainland.
“We had to be here,” said Randall Francisco, president of the Kauai Chamber of Commerce. “Their array of services will help a lot of small businesses that have to deal with so many things.”
Delaney led the HiGroup delegation that welcomed Kauai to its new facility. Other HiGroup dignitaries included Scott Meichtry, co-owner and executive Vice President, Teri Brueschoff, RN, chief operating officer, Sean Knox, president of HiEmployment, and Harry Byerly, president of HiHR.
