Mathew Diendorf had to switch out from behind the camera to talking to students and Capt. Bruce Hay piqued students’ interests with his talk about aircraft carriers and roller coasters.
If that is not enough excitement, Chef Rafael Camarillo is going to have a Fried Rice recipe (true Fried Rice has no recipe — just throw everything together) for the Rice Festival on Saturday. Jason Fujinaka got a break from Ron Wood who will be emcee-ing the event. Jason is one of the judges with Chef Sam Choy and he and Ron get to judge the Spam musubi eating contest.
OK, time to go check out Lorna Santos, coach Neal Pigao and Charlene Steuri at the Lawai Cannery garage sale.
