The Michael Drake ohana has been pretty busy in August as Emmsley went off to participate in the Showstoppers event with the Excel Dance Group.
With hardly any time to catch his breath, it was on to the Heiva I Kauai where Kaylynn Drake joined the family in performing the fire knife routine as well as help in the workshops over two days.
After the Relay for Life, which benefits the American Cancer Society, it’s time to invest the Royal Court for the Aloha Festivals.
Don’t forget Josie Pablo and the Mahelona Hospital bon dance. Placido Valenciano said he’ll officiate the JV football game and will probably be able to make part of the bon dance.
Cynthia Chiang will be there with Aki Conquest to open the festivities, and if lucky, she’ll even get in some dancing.
