Wallace Masao Sugimura
Wallace Masao Sugimura of Lawai passed away on July 25, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 81. He is born on April 24, 1932 in Lihue, Kauai. He was a retired self-employed Contractor.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred M. Sugimura; and son, Tait J. Sugimura.
He is survived by his son, Floyd (Ruby) Sugimura of Lawai; daughters, Myra (Michael) Niau of Lawai, Terry (Richard) Woodford of Las Vegas, and Doreen (Alvin) Aquino of Lawai; brother, Richard Sugimura of Kalaheo; sisters, Elaine Sugimura and Karen Matsumoto, both of Kalaheo; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 9 a.m. Service starts at 10 am. Burial will follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested

Susan J. Bouchard of Princeville passed away at home on July 20, 2013, at the age of 60. She was born in Maine on September 30, 1952, and retired from private practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Los Angeles, California.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jon Evans.
She is survived by three nieces, Wendie Bourgoin of Wales, Maine, Kerrie Childs of Auburn, Maine and Jennifer Murray of Sandwich, Massachusetts.

Thelma Florene Rutkoskie
Thelma Florene Rutkoskie of Kapaa passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on July 9, 2013, at the age of 96. She was an award winning artist from Branden gallery.
She was preceded in death by her son, Michael McKeown.
She is survived by three sons, Greg (Yvonne) McKeown of Kapaa; Dennis McKeown and Clayton (Jenny) McKeown both of California; 11 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.

Maria Lorenzo
Maria B. Lorenzo of Waimea passed away on July 28, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. She is born on July 2, 1935 in the Philippines. She was a field worker with Global Ag.
She was preceded in death by spouse, Venancio Lorenzo; parents, Florentino (Maura) Barcena; brother, Juanito Barcena.
She is survived by her two daughters, Maura (Leo) Sloan of Las Vegas; and Lucia (Ricky) Kaui of Kapaa; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and numerous brothers, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 23, 2013 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai at 9 a.m. Service will start at 10 a.m.
Casual attire suggested. Family asks that you join them for lunch at the Dela Cruz Ohana (Eddie Dela Cruz) in Waimea; 9964 Poke Road Waimea.

Steven Dinnan
Steven Joseph Dinnan of Kilauea passed away at home on June 20, 2013, at the age of 60. He was born in California on December 14, 1952, and was a well known master carpenter.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Concepcion “Ceppi” Dinnan; brothers, Raymond A. Dinnan and Albert M. Dinnan.
He is survived by his daughter, Shawna Dinnan, son, Steven Joseph Dinnan, both of Kilauea; brothers, Louis A (Valerie) Dinnan and Sean F. (Daphne) Dinnan both of Oahu; sister-in-law, Frances Dinnan of Anahola; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013, at St. Catherine Church with visitation from 8:30 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. A reception will be held 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Stewart Swacker
Stewart “Larry” Swacker of Kalaheo passed away on July 22, 2013 at his home at the age of 69. He was born on September 28, 1943 in Bremerton Washington; he was a Pharmacist owner of Garden Island Pharmacy.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Marjorie Bird Swacker; sister, Julia Vaughn; and grandson, Robert Francis Stein.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Swacker; son, Steven L. Swacker of Kalaheo; daughter, Lisa (Robert) B. Stein of Orlando Florida; father, Stewart W. Swacker of Dallas Texas; sisters, Virginia (Bob) Leef of Illinois and Carol Joe of Texas; and grandchildren, Kari-ann Baylee Stein and Mikayla Jolynn Swacker.

Matthew Robert Stradley
Matthew Robert Stradley of Kapaa, Kauai passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on July 18, 2013, at the age of 67. He was born in Richland, Ohio on October 29, 1945, and retired from United Airlines as the lead mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Joann Stradley; daughter, Heather Scholten; 2 grandchildren; siblings, Virginia Jones; James Stradley; Linda Stradley; Nancy Pezzi; brothers-in-law, Christian Strohmaier; Robert Strohmaier; numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
