It’s not “Loo,” or “Liu,” or “Lu,” but “Lew.”
Phil Lew, enjoying the Koloa Plantation Days parade with his wife Wendy, and Ada Koene (she’s truly international with a stepson in Holland, too), said between all of the people changing letters in his name, it’s now officially “Lew.”
Hats off to Aunty Stella Burgess and Arryl Kaneshiro (another great orange(!) staff shirt) on another great parade.
Wendy Hashiguchi didn’t have her KPD shirt on, even after Sharlene Sueoka bought a whole bunch at the Kauai Culinary Market Wednesday.
Hats off to Melissa McFerrin on a busy 10 days of events!
Edwin Vea (he’s wishing he had entered a Beach House float) said Aug. 24 is the Beach House craft fair that will benefit all three public high schools on Kauai. Edwin was helping at the Mailelani booth since Karin Panui is in New York.
Annette Hashimoto thought the craft fair was great, even if it rained early in the morning.
