LIHUE — The Kauai Museum invites you to enjoy a day of history and culture as it hosts the Merrie Monarch Commemorative book signing Aug. 2 with author Skylark Rossetti.
The event begins at 11:30 a.m. in the museum’s main gallery.
Better known as “Honolulu Skylark,” Jacqueline Skylark Rossetti has hosted the Merrie Monarch Competition for 35 years, and was awarded the Broadcaster of the Year Award in 1991 and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Kauai Academy of Recording Arts in 2010.
Rossetti has been involved in broadcast media for over 40 years.
In addition to this book signing, Kauai Museum will also be hosting its Friday Paina in the museum courtyard from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. As guests take in the beauty of the museum, they can dine on local cuisine, and enjoy an afternoon of aloha spirit with family and friends.
Special musical guest will be the legendary Hawaiian musician Larry Rivera.
