Welcome home to Vicky Oana, who after flying almost all day from Portland, Ore., made it to Troy and Stanley Lazaro’s Rokstar Fitness Zumba event Tuesday, less than two hours after landing at Lihue Airport.
Kudos to Troy and Stanley on their efforts to help coaches Kirk Correa, Nick Alquiza and Dallas Correa and the boys from the Kauai PONY 13s.
Jason Fujinaka said the team should take Troy with them to either help warm up the boys or wear down the opposition in Fullerton, Calif.
Kudos to Marissa Sandblom of Grove Farm, who had the team at its swap meet to help make money, and mahalo to all who dug into their pockets to help the team fly.
More kudos to Kristi Akamine, Eileen Taba and Verna Schoftstall on another great Kauai Sports Camp! Anna Flint, who did the first Unchartered Waters Jump Rope Clinic, said she’ll be back to do another.
