Venancio B. “Boy/Benny” Tabura Jr., of Kapaa, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on July 8, 2013 at his home at the age of 66. He was born on April 10, 1947 in Lihue.
He was a retired SGT. in the U.S. Army .
He is preceded in death by parents, Venancio and Solidad Tabura; sisters, Marie Tabura Hiranaka and Yolanda Tabura Cabinatan.
He is survived by daughter, Lehua Nani Burton, Raliegh, North Carolina; son, Michael (Noemi) Tabura, Temecula, California; sisters, Lourdes (Norman) Carlos, Kapaa; Sally (Jeffrey) Callejo, Lihue; Katherine (Larry) Akau, Kapaa; Melanie (Michael) Marshall, Kapaa; Tanya (Eric) Borderkisher, Kapaa; brother, Kevin (Aimee) Tabura, Kapaa; hanai brother, Clifford (Danette) Lee, Wailua; 5 grandchildren and one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews and cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Center, Lihue, visitation at 9:00 a.m. and Service at 10:00 a.m.
