Golfers, and those wanting to learn golf, are invited to enjoy the Family Golf Festival from 8 a.m. to noon July 13 at the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club.
The site of the recent Jr. PGA Championships and the Easter Seals fundraising golf tournament, Kenneth Mizuo, the golf operations manager for Kauai Lagoons Golf Club, said some of the highlights include the presence of representatives from Titleist, TaylorMade and Nike, who will have new products on hand for golfers to try.
Golfers can enjoy free walking on the 9-hole Waikahe course for the entire day.
While there, people can learn about the Kids Golf 4 Free program offered by the Marriott.
Scott Ashworth, Kauai Lagoons director of golf, will offer free 10-minute lessons during the festival, which includes a putting competition and hourly drawings for rounds of golf.
Kauai Lagoons Golf Club is at 3351 Hoolaulea Way in Lihue, adjacent to the Kauai Marriott Resort and Beach Club.
