Will Obama follow through?
I am greatly dismayed at the collective government and public acceptance of the persecution and prosecution of whistleblowers. In four years, the Obama Administration has harassed more people in this category than the total of all previous administrations, including eight years of Bush/Cheney who were pretty vigorous at it.
I have to question, is the government regularly making hiring errors or are they doing more that they are ashamed of?
I think that they feel that their ability to threaten and punish people will keep them in line and are basically misjudging the amount of egregious behavior they can push someone to do without triggering moral outrage.
These are people whose aim was to bring to government the transparency that Obama promised and did not deliver.
We thought we were getting a new Kennedy and ended up with a baby Bush.

This letter is in regard to the incident that occurred in Polihale this past weekend. How poho!!
Whether for territorial, retaliation, or plain trouble making reasons shame on you. We are all so blessed to live on one of the most beautiful places in the world with one another. We are a territory together and should stand united not divided. With the many issues that this island is challenged with, (GMOs, drug addiction affecting so many loved ones, improper care for the land to name a few), how can we begin to formulate solutions without care for one another?
Come on boys. Stand together as one to defend what us real and what really matters. Please.

Alert! Robbery at Polihale
A group of North Shore boys were robbed at Polihale. A mob of adult men from the Westside attacked and beat them with chains and bats.
There was threats that they had guns waiting in the parking lot. They stole pop up tents, sound systems, generators, coolers, and anything else they could get their hands on.
They damaged vehicles as well as the theft and beating, all the while shouting “Westside united!”
This is not OK! We should not have to pack guns to protect ourselves while camping at Polihale or any other beach. This is such a shame to our community and island.
We will get to the bottom of this! If you have any information regarding this activity please come forward.

The lawsuit for a closed primary election filed by the Democratic Party of Hawaii is but a continuation of the growing arrogance, greed, and elitism that pervades the party.
That suit does not fit well with the ethnic plurality that is Hawaii. It appears that the Democratic Party of Hawaii has become the New Republican Party of the ‘30s, ‘40s and ‘50s. Once again, power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely!
