LIHUE — Kauai Planning & Action Alliance will be “Celebrating 10 Years and Charting the Future” at itsw annual meeting from 2:30 to 5 p.m. Friday at Island School’s Frear Center for Hawaiian Culture and the Arts.
KPAA is a nonprofit that brings people together to collaboratively plan and take action to achieve targeted community goals.
During its decade of service, KPAA has fostered dialogue and ensured action on difficult issues facing the island in partnership with dozens of volunteers serving on committees and action teams.
Following a short membership business meeting and election of directors for the KPAA Board, the program will feature an interactive discussion about Kauai’s priority issues.
Results from a public opinion survey about top issues facing Kauai where KPAA might be of assistance will be presented and KPAA members will select the organization’s goals for the years ahead.
The public is asked to register before Thursday and participate in this free event by calling KPAA at 632-2005 or emailing kpaa@kauainetwork.org.
