Hats off to Jason Nagahisa and all the Kawaihau Community Little League leaders on a great tournament. Bob Kawamoto is wondering how he’s going to get the Star-Advertiser because they don’t sell it at the hotel he’s staying at, and Norman Aweau was telling everyone to smile.
The Salvation Army lieutenants Austin and Nayomi Anderson were having a busy day, juggling the arrival of Anne Chipchase, Elizabeth “Annie” Hiller and the WE, a hui for health, group with the Project Vision van.
Naoko Ho was wondering where all the Lions were, but then, Charlie Ortiz showed up to help. Naoko had a lot of Lions helping, including Deanna Starinieri, Sandi Sterker, Paulette Akama and Kent Mizuguchi.
For those who haven’t done it, the WE people are here on the weekend through June 30, and the health screenings are free.
