I would like to add some positive vibes for this beautiful breed of dog called the pit bull. By no mean are these dogs’ people haters or people eaters. If a pit bull, just like any other dog, is properly trained and socialized there will be no problems with aggressive behavior towards humans and animals. I have a 6-year-old blue nose pit bull named Kava. Kava is a wonderful family pet and my two-year-old daughter and Kava are the best of friends.
A pit bull isn’t for everyone, a lot of times someone will get a pit bull to look cool and they fail to give their dog the proper care and attention it needs, which causes terrible accidents to occur. All dogs big and small should be on a leash.
Whenever I go to the beach I always have Kava on a leash because in her mind she has a family to protect and doesn’t always like when other animals that are off a leash come running up to us.
It’s the wrongful doing of poor dog owners who allow their dogs to be off a leash whether it’s an aggressive or non-aggressive dog. I recommend looking at www.dogbreedinfo.com. You might learn some real facts on this faithful, friendly, loyal breed of dog.

Restitution is laughable
The wheels of justice turn, but is justice going anywhere?
Sentencing of two men for the senseless killing of a dairy goat has netted them a little jail time, felony probation and an order to pay restitution to Kunana Dairy.
Hawaii has a dismal history of collecting on orders for restitution, with a 2011 Star-Advertiser story citing a default rate of more than 90 percent.
The system has no process or even desire to enforce the judgment, making it laughable to levy. I have personal experience with not collecting on restitution orders.
One case was for embezzlement from a former employee (in a former business) and another was for damages caused by a drunken driver that plowed into our building.
The restitution amounts ordered totaled more than $20,000 and the amount collected was under $100. The money loss was minor compared with seeing the offenders in the community enjoying their ability to defy the law without consequences.
Laws without enforcement are not laws. Let’s stop making restitution laughable.

GMO lovers want labels
Kimo Rosen likes GMOs so much, I’m wondering how he is able to find it. I too want to make sure I’m getting the real thing, but when I go to the grocery store, I can’t find it.
Sometimes I end up buying that disgusting organic food by mistake. I’m sure that Kimo agrees with me that GMO food should be labeled so that he and I and everyone else who loves GMOs are guaranteed of getting quality GMO food and nothing less.
