HANAPEPE – The replacement of valves and auxiliary work at the Hanapepe sewer pump station located adjacent to the Hanapepe fire station is scheduled for next week.
The weeklong project will begin on today with work hours set for 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. barring any unforeseen circumstances.
Part of the work will involve the excavation and then refilling of the shoulder along Kaumuali‘i Highway. To accommodate this, slight modifications will be made to the traffic pattern. Flagmen will be on site directing traffic.
Motorists are advised to use caution while driving through the area, obey all traffic control devices and flagmen, as well as allow for extra travel time.
