Korean War Veteran Descendants internship
The Korea-US Science Cooperation Center is offering direct descendants of Korean War veterans majoring in science and engineering an opportunity to apply for an internship. Internships will be for up to six months (tentatively scheduled for Aug. 1 through Dec. 31) and will be in a variety of private companies or research laboratories throughout Korea — depending on the awardee’s professional interests. English will be the language of the workplace, and there will be compensated internships at levels yet to be finalized. Some internships may include airfare.
Awardees will arrange own housing in the local neighborhoods near the workplace and housing information will be provided.
To apply online, visit http://www.kusco.org/program/kusco-intership; or pick-up an application package at the Kauai Office of Veterans’ Services or contact Royce Ebesu at 822-4341.
