POIPU — The Beach House Restaurant in Poipu added another commendation to its roster of accolades.
Tim Obert, the general manager of The Beach House Restaurant, took time out of the restaurant’s steady lunch clientele to display the State Senatorial Certificate, which recognizes and congratulates the restaurants owners, Roy Dunn and Mike Hooks, for its recognition by Travel & Leisure Magazine.
The magazine, in 2013, named 37 restaurants as the “Most Romantic Restaurants” in America, with The Beach House being the only restaurant in Hawaii recognized for this honor.
With a small, south bump filling the renown Prince Kuhio Reform break with youthful surfers enjoying the summer break, lunchtime diners had a built-in vista of entertainment on the south end of the dining room, while diners facing the west enjoyed the beach scene punctuated with people enjoying snorkeling in the bay.
The Beach House Restaurant combines “old-fashioned Hawaiian hospitality,” innovative Pacific Rim Cuisine and spectacular oceanfront surroundings to create a world class dining experience.
