Kudos to Ellen Ching and the Easter Seals Hawaii, Kauai ohana on a great job with the golf tournament Sunday at the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club.
Kudos, too, to Scott Ashworth (he’s got the Junior PGA tournament coming up, soon) and all of the Kauai Lagoons Golf Club staff on hosting the tournament.
Sara Miura was busy with classes and the Deja Vu free keiki surf contest Saturday, but still was up before the roosters to help at the tournament, and Ellen said Jason Fujinaka had out-of-town family so had to miss the golf ball drop.
The drop had its treat, this year when Casey Riemer of Jack Harter Helicopters showed up for ground support with Angela Tillson (she even got to shoot with Casey’s D700).
Of course, it’s not a golf tournament without Sharron Weber, and Kauai Fire Chief Bob Westerman even got Dave Walker to come out and golf.
And, on golf, mahalo to Sam Pratt for his help with the Chica Ishii golf tournament.
