LIHU‘E — Kaua‘i Police Department arrested a middle school custodian earlier this month on multiple drug-related offenses.
William Arthur, 55, was arrested in the parking lot of Waimea Canyon Middle School on May 8 for one count of promoting a controlled substance near a school and one count of possessing drug paraphernalia.
Police caught Arthur during school hours with more than 27 grams of marijuana in his vehicle. He was also in possession of related items including marijuana cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.
Arthur posted $2,000 bail and has since been released from custody pending his court appearance.
