LIHU‘E — Over the last few months, The Garden Island’s editorial team has increased coverage of our island. We’ve hired an editor and reporter to cover more events, meetings and hard news stories both in print and online. That’s our commitment to you.
Friday marks the next phase in TGI’s journey to better serve our community.
• Every Friday, readers can look forward to TGIFriday. Look for live music listings, an island calendar, plus photos and articles about what to do this upcoming weekend — everything from what concert to see to the best place for pau hana. It will also showcase Dining Out Kaua‘i, a weekly feature spotlighting restaurants on island.
• Friday also marks the launch of the new Real Estate section. An easy to flip through magazine will help readers find the best homes on the island. As always, there will be economic updates and tips and tricks on how to remodel your space.
• On Sunday, TGI launches a new business section. It will includes business pages from The Wall Street Journal, plus locally-sourced stories about the business climate on island.
• Also on Sunday, readers will find TV Week, a magazine containing local television listings for the entire week. TV Week also highlights the best upcoming television shows.
We hope you enjoy the improvements of TGI. But as always, we love to hear from you. Let us know how we are doing. Give us a call at 245-3681, or send an email to editor@thegardenisland.com.
