Jay Mossman
Jay Mossman of Kapaa passed away on April 12, 2013 at home at the age of 53. He was born on September 11, 1960. He was a carpenter.
He is survived by his parents, Georgia and Ralph Mossman of Wailua; his former wife Yuki Mossman of Kapaa; 2 sons; Nicholas Mossman of Wailua; Reyn Mossman of Colorado.
There will be a service and scattering of his ashes fronting his home via Kayak by family and close friends at a later date.

William H. Feldhacker, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013, in Tucson, Arizona at the age of 70. Born on March 25, 1943, in Onawa, Iowa. He owned a private practice, Soong & Feldhacker.
He was preceded in death by his parents Joe and Vivian Feldhacker; sister, B.J.
He is survived by his loving wife, Stephenie Anderson of Tucson; son, Scott; daughter-in-law Heather; three grandchildren Sienna; Sonnet; and Stryker of Scottsdale; sisters, Jolene of Onawa, Iowa; Linda of Onawa, Iowa; and nieces, Kellie Witt of Phoenix; Laura Turk of Phoenix.
An island casual Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort (Indian Bend and Scottsdale Rd.) at 2:00 p.m.
Hilda Victorino
Hilda Mariano Pimental Victorino of Kapaa passed away at home on April 15, 2013, at the age of 89. She was born in Lawai, Kauai on July 16, 1923, and was a dedicated homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Victorino Jr. She is survived by five children, Barbara (Richard) Ebinger, Charlotte (Russell) Maeda, Richard (Patricia) Victorino, Brenda (Eddie) Barriga, and Donna Medina; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church with visitation from 9:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Arrangement are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
Shizuyo Masumura
Shizuyo Masumura, 94, of Lihue, died at Garden Isle Health Care on April 14, 2013. Born on July 13, 1918 in Lihue, Kauai, she was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Tetsuji Masumura. She is survived by her son, Alan (Dale) Masumura of Lihue; two grandchildren, Joni (Galen) Tominaga and Emmi (Ryan) Esaki; and a great-grandchild, Samantha Tominaga.
A Private Service was held. Family requests no koden.

Albert Sadao Nagahisa Sr.
Albert Sadao Nagahisa Sr. of Kapaa passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on April 17, 2013, at the age of 95. He was born in Kapaa, Kauai on May 25, 1917, a veteran of the United States Army; he was the owner of Marina Flowers and retired as an auditor with the County of Kauai.
He is Preceded in death by his wife Teruko Nagahisa. He is survived by one son, Albert “Butch” (Miki) Nagahisa Jr., one daughter, JoAnn Nagahisa; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Maeda, caregiver Elena Respicio, numerous nieces and nephews.
Private Memorial services were already held.

Yoshiko Ota Tasaka
Yoshiko Ota Tasaka of Koloa, Kauai, passed away on March 4, 2013 at home, at the age of 99. Born on November 24, 1913 in Malumalu, Kauai, she was a homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Goro Tasaka; and is survived by her four sons, Gene Tasaka of California, Dennis Tasaka of Eleele, Gary (Lucinda) Tasaka of Lihue, and Gilbert (Evelyn) Tasaka of Oahu; brother, Nobuo Ota of Kapaa; sisters, Hatsue Tasaka of Hanalei and Hideko Uemura of Lihue; five grandchildren; one great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Private services were held.

Angel Santiago Sr.
Angel Santiago Sr. of Hanamaulu, Kauai, Hawaii. Passed away on April 9, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 84 Born on March 29, 1929 in Honolulu, Hawaii He was a retired truck driver with Lihue Plantation & well known Latin musician.
He is preceded in death by: his father, Manuel Rio Santiago and mother, Mary Rodrigues, daughter, Dora Hirokane and step daughter, Angela Vegas. He is survived by: wife, Rose Santiago; sons, Angel Jr., (Lorita) Santiago, Ronald (Irwette) Santiago, Manuel (Valerie) Santiago, Chico Santiago; daughters, Matilda (George) Inouye, Sharon Santiago; stepchildren, Verna (Springwater) Kaulili, Norma (Gilbert) Serraon, Samuel Jr. (Sandra) Vegas, Darren (Liana) Vegas; sisters, Flora Ybarra and Jennie Pagan of Oahu. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday May 4 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary, Koloa Visitation 10:00 A.M. Service at 12:00 P.M. Burial to follow at 2:30 P.M. at Kauai Memorial Gardens, Lihue. Family suggest casual attire.

Pacita Ibanez, 74, of Hanamaulu, died at Garden Isle Health Care on April 14, 2013. Born on June 9, 1938 in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a landscaper.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Fruto Ibanez. She is survived by her two sons, Villamor (Visitation) Ibanez of Kapaa and Rosebelt (Jocelyn) Ibanez of Texas; two daughters, Amorsolo Ibanez and Maria Ibanez, both of Kapaa; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai, with viewing from 9 am to 11 am, and service at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Family suggests casual attire.
