Raymond Chow Sr.
Raymond Ah Fat Chow Sr. of Georgetown, Texas formerly of Lihue passed away at home on April 4, 2013, at the age of 82. He was born in Niumalu, Kauai on April 15, 1930. He was a maintenance engineer at Kauai Surf and the Westin Kauai Lagoons and an avid fisherman.
He is preceded in death by his parents Chow Yee and Chong Sing.
He is survived by his wife Merrill Chow; children, Cashmire Lopez; Raymond (Elvirne) Chow Jr.; Anne (Leslie) Milnes; Crystal Chow; Cindy (Joseph) Grajo; Candice Chow (Jamie Barry); sister, Dorothy Huddy; brother, Aki Chow; sisters in law, Mildred Chow; Maisie Chow; 15 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Niumalu Canoe Club House in back of Anchor Cove, visitation from 9:30 am to 10:30 am and service to follow. No flowers please and Casual attire.
Arrangements are being handled by Ramsey Funeral Home and Crematorium.
Jonathan Kalani Ibana
Jonathan Kalani P. Ibana of Kaumankani, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on March 11, 2013 at the age of 32. He was born on July 17, 1980 on the island of Oahu.
He is preceded in death by father, Mariano Ibana.
He is survived by mother, Helen (Nolie) Coma of Kaumakani; sister, Charlene (Alberto) Ramos of San Diego, California; brothers, Justin (Ann Marie) Ibana of Puhi; Joel (Brithany) Ibana of Seattle, Washington; hanai sister, Brandi Hustace of Kaumakani; and maternal grandmother Eduvijes Patinga of Kaumakani; numerous uncles, aunties, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may visit the family on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm, again on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Holy Cross Church at 9:00 am to 10:00 an where Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am, burial to follow at the Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

George Adams
George Henry Adams of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 30, 2013, at the age of 90. He was born in California on August 27, 1922, and retired from Railroad of Oakland California as a Conductor. A veteran of the United States Navy, he survived Pearl Harbor.
He is survived by his wife, Mariam Adams; 2 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be changed to Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 301 Kihapai Street in Kapaa, Kauai.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Masako Shinno
Masako A. Shinno of Lihue passed away on April 9, 2013, at the age of 81. She was born in Naha, Okinawa on April 15, 1931, and retired from Lihue Barbecue Inn.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Shinno and son, George Shinno.
She is survived by six children, Lucille (Eric) Austin; Judi (Jed) Young; Naomi (Jesse) Fukushima; Eugene Shinno; Norman (Jill) Shinno; Gene (Barbi) Shinno; 14 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Kapaa Missionary Church with visitation from 9:00 a.m. and services at 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private.

Naty Sales Bumanglag
Naty Sales Bumanglag of Lihue, Kauai, Hawaii, passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on April 8, 2013 at the age of 72. She was born in the Philippines on December 2, 1940. She was an assistant with the United States Immigration Service.
She is preceded in death by parents, Florentino and Juana Sales.
She is survived by husband, Bobby Bumanglag of Lihue; sons, Rex Acosta of Lihue; Nelson (Harvette) Acosta of Hanapepe; daughters, Teresita “Teri” (Tony) Viernes of Honolulu; Marilyn (James) Orange, Georgia; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Anthony (Francis) Sales of Lihue; sister, Amy Bumanglag Sales, of Wailua; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit the family on Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Visitation at 9:00 am, Service at 10:00 am and Family request that flowers be omitted. Burial to follow at Lihue Cemetary. Post service gathering and Luncheon at the Lihue Neighborhood Center 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm.

Piilani Irene Cotner
Piilani Irene Cotner of Grapevine, Texas passed away on April 9, 2013 at the age of 80. She was born on December 6, 1932 in Waimea (Big Island), Hawaii.
She is preceded in Death by parents, Enoch Brown and Lydia Low; brother, Kealoha Brown.
She is survived by her husband Jack A. Cotner of Cape Girardeau, MO; her six childrens, Kalani; Nani; Nalei; Keaka; Kawika; and Keoke; ten grandchildren, Piilani; Kalani; Jack; Kalani; Antonio; Leinani; Lani; Maya; Ela; Nicole; Kassidy; and Kelson; two great-grandchildren, Kale`a and Kailani; in-laws, Lei; Antonio; Gonzalo; Andrea; Charlsee; and Tisha; brother Enoch (Butch) Brown; sister Emily Spaeth; and her nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Yoichi Arita
Yoichi Arita of Hanamaulu passed away at Samuel Mahelona Memorial Hospital on April 14, 2013, at the age of 96. He was born in Koloa, Kauai, Hawaii on April 5, 1917 and retired as a supervisor with PSandD.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Tokiyo Arita.
He is survived by one son Wayne (Sharlene) Arita of Oahu; one daughter, Judy Yoshida of Kapaa; four grandchildren, Travis Arita; Kimberlee Arita; Sheri Lynn Yoshida; and Jennifer (Michael) Klinger; one sister, Mitsue Nogami of Lihue; one brother, Masaharu (Jane) Arita of Lihue; sister-in-law, Yoshie Kodama; brother-in-law, Dr. Richard (Jane) Haruki; sister-in-law, Barbara Haruki; numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2013, at Lihue Hongwanji Mission with visitation from 3:00 p.m. and services celebrated at 4:00 p.m.
