I would like to give big mahalo to the Kilauea Neighborhood Association and the Kilauea community’s incredible support of opposing the proposed 80-foot cell tower proposed to be located at the Kilauea Lighthouse Christian Fellowship property.
The majority of Kilauea opposes this giant tower because it will be so close to homes, the base station noise that powers it will keep the residents up all night, all of the neighboring homes property value will depreciate, the massive fake pine tree tower is so ugly it would ruin the beautiful view plain of the historic Kilauea Lighthouse, the northern most point in the Hawaiian Island chain.
The community of Kilauea has spoken. Since it is common sense that these towers emit electromagnetic radiation, we ask the county to hear us and put it in a safer, reasonable area not adjacent to homes and schools.
