LIHU‘E — Police have arrested attempted murder suspect Justin Wynn Klein following a multi-agency search that lasted nearly four months, according to a county press release.
A tipster alerted police to a possible Klein sighting on Saturday afternoon at Lydgate Beach Park. Officers responded to the call and located the wanted fugitive around 5:30 p.m., near the pavilions. He was arrested without incident and remains in police custody at this time.
Klein, 37, has been on the run since Dec. 16, when a witness reportedly saw him throw a 31-year-old Japanese visitor from a cliff in the Kalalau Valley on Kaua‘i’s North Shore.
