Ginger Ruiz
Ginger Lee Dee Ruiz of Kekaha, Kauai, passed away on March 28, 2013 at home at the age of 46. Born on July 16, 1966, in Waimea, Kauai, she was a cook for Waimea Brewing Company.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Aniscacia “Anna” Feliciana; and brother, Renfred D. Ruiz.
She is survived by her father, Alfred “Freddy” G. (Doris) Ruiz of Kekaha; brothers, Maurice (Kim) Ruiz of California; and Fredric (Emarina) Ruiz of Waimea; sister, Dianna “Dee” (Llewellyn “Lew”) Young of Kekaha; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013, at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Kekaha, with visitation from 9:00am to 10:00am and Mass to be celebrated at 10:30am. and burial to follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery.

Harry Boranian
Harry Boranian of Lihue dies at home on March 12, 2013 at the age of 90. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island on October 5, 1922. He served as the Director of Civil Service for the City and County of Honolulu during the Frank Fasi Administration.
He is survived by his wife June Munson Boranian; Four children; Paula Rudinoff (Jan) of Lihue, Victor Boranian (Lolly) of Vail, Arizona, Eve Boranian of Sacramento, CA and Skip “Harry Jr.” Boranian of Kapaa; 6 grand children and 5 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Dickran of Fresno, CA and Ara of Corona Del Mar, CA; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. He is preceded in death by his brother Paul of Minneapolis, MN.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, 5 p.m. at St. Michael and All Angel’s Episcopal Church in Lihue. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, 4364 Hardy St., Lihue, HI 96766 or to Kauai Hospice 4457 Pahee Street, Lihue, HI 96766.

Kathleen Kashiwabara
Kathleen K. Kashiwabara of Lihue, Kauai passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 27, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born on March 13, 1944.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Keizo and Ayako Kashiwabara; and brother, Nicholas Kashiwabara.
She is survived by her brother, James (Candace) Kashiwabara of Lihue, and their children- Wayne (Raelyn) Inouye and children- Jazlyn, Kamryn, and Kalalea; Jason; Justin; Jaylyn and her daughter Saijeah; and Krystalyn (Rayme) Kashiwabara and their daughter Lovella; sister, Nancy (Charles) Toyama of Honolulu and their children- Jennifer and Shilah.
Private services were held.

George Adams
George Henry Adams of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on March 30, 2013, at the age of 90. He was born in California on August 27, 1922, was a veteran of the United States Navy, survived Pearl Harbor, and retired from Railroad of Oakland California as a Conductor.
He is survived by his wife, Mariam Adams; 2 granddaughters, and 2 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 301 Kihapai Street in Kapaa, Kauai.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
Amelia Louis Perreira
Amelia “Emily” Louis Perreira of Hanamaulu, Kauai passed away on March 29, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 96. She was born on January 29, 1917 in Omao, Kauai. She was a Homemaker.
She is preceded in death by her husband Frank G. Perreira and her son Gaylord G. Perreira.
She is survived by her son; Gregory (Crescencia) Perreira;
9 Grandchildren: Ryan (Joe-Ann) Perreira, Wesley (Stacy) Perreira, Trisha Perreira, Randall (Suzan) Perreira, Gregory S. Perreira, Richard (Cherelle Rego) Perreira, Michael Perreira, James Perreira, Victoria Perreira and 11 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Thursday April 11, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Church from 8:00 am to 9:45 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. and burial to follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.

Theresa J. Nogales
Teresa J. Nogales of Kalaheo passed away at home on April 1, 2013, at the age of 54. She was born in Seattle, Washington on June 4 1958, and was a hair stylist at Regis Hair Salon.
She is survived by one son, Andrew Segawa of Kalaheo; one daughter, Casey Segawa of Oahu; two sisters, Linda Nogales and Sandra (Andres) Martinez, both of Seattle, Washington; one brother, Michael Nogales of Mississippi; aunties, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2013 with potluck at Kukuiolono Park and Golf Course pavilion from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00. Family graciously declines flowers.
