Luis P. Simpliciano
Luis P. Simpliciano of Hanapepe, Kauai, passed away on March 11, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 92. He was born on October 30, 1920 in the Philippines. He was a retired Yardman.
He is survived by his wife; Rosita Agurilla Simpliciano; daughters; Carlina Butay; Perla (Balthazar) Duldulao; Elma (Hal) Goldberg; Luz (Rick) Alejo; Noemi (Efren) Pacol; sons; Ben (Sally) Simpliciano; Manuel (Pacita) Simpliciano; Arte (Natty) Simpliciano; Russell (Erlinda) Simpliciano; Manny (Tina) Simpliciano; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Friends may visit the family on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and where mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery.
Arrangements were handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.

Paula Jean Carpenter, died on March 18, 2013, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, Lihue, HI, at the age of 67. She was born on July 17, 1945 and lived in Kapaa, HI, and Wasilla AK. She was a retired seamstress.
She is preceded in Death by her parents Lester P. “Dutch” Goslin Sr; and Carrie Marguerite “Margy” Barber-Goslin; brother, Petey; sister; Winona; husband, Thomas P. “Rusty” Carpenter, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly; son, Thomas Jr. of Wasilla, AK; Edward of Kapaa, HI; five granddaughters and six grandsons, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Service at 1:00 pm on Sunday (no viewing or burial), April 7th 2013, Kapaa Missionary Church 4-758 Kuhio Hwy, Kapaa, HI. 808-822-5594
There will be a memorial service in Wasilla, Alaska as well, on 4/19/2013 at 7pm. Donations will be accepted at the Memorial Service.

Amayah Nevae Agpaoa of Okinawa, Japan, died on March 21, 2013 at US Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan. She was born on March 21, 2013 at US Naval Hospital, Okinawa, Japan.
She is preceded in death by great, great grandparents, Flora A. Agpaoa, Salvador and Emily Carvalho, Frank and Jane Simao Sr, Joseph Freitas, Michael Bonilla, Jules and Beatrice Nordmeier, Uncles, Scott (Scotty Boy) Kaneakua, Tomas (JunJun) Garcia Jr, Joseph Michael Freitas.
She is survived by her parents, Ian and Nisa Agpaoa, grandparents, Kaulana and Penny Kaneakua, Fredelito and Imelda Agpaoa, Michael (Kristen) Freitas Jr.
great grandparents, Michael and Diana Carvalho Sr, Filemon and Esperanza Yago, Michael and Sharon Freitas Sr, Maximo Agpaoa, William and Anita Kaneakua, great great grandparents, Francis Freitas and Dorthy Bonilla, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and extended cousins and extended ohana.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday April 6, 2013 at Kauai Bible Church, in Omao from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. and burial to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery, in Hanapepe.
