LIHU‘E — Orchids and artwork take over Hanapepe, Kaua‘i’s “Biggest Little Town,” during the 7th Annual Kaua‘i Orchid and Art Festival Friday and Saturday.
The event will feature free concerts, local grinds, keiki activities, art workshops and, of course, an amazing display of exotic, tropical orchids at the Garden Island Orchid Society’s annual Spring Fantasy Orchid Show.
Saturday’s lineup features Makana, Joyful Noise Taiko Drummers, Paul Togioka and Lost Pelican Band. The music begins at 11 a.m. at the Hawaiian Congregational Church.

• Spring Fantasy Orchid Show, 1 to 7 p.m., at Hanapepe’s United Church of Christ.
• Hanapepe Walk and Talk Story, 5:30 p.m., at the Tea Room at Storybook Theatre. A 90-minute walk with great views and stories of Hanapepe. $10 suggested donation.
• Friday Art Night, 6 to 9 p.m., featuring music, food and special gallery displays for the festival.
• Keiki Karaoke, 7 to 8 p.m., at Storybook Theatre.
Saturday

• Friends of the Hanapepe Library Craft Fair, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Hanapepe Library.
