Hats off to Trysen on a great job with his senior project, which has grown to include The Hawai‘i Meth Project and the Spray Away Meth workshops for Kaua‘i’s youth!
Bryson Cayaban of Waimea High School and William Jordan Balbin of Kaua‘i High School (they’re both art winners at the state level, too) were joined by Colby Takeda in making sure everything was ready for the workshops.
Leilani Suenaga was impressed with the developing mural, noting the likeness to Carter Point and Queen Victoria’s profile, and mahalo to Coach Bobby Rapozo for confirming Trysen’s appearance on campus Wednesday.
With all the hard work going on, even Wilma Holi stopped by to check out the developing mural before heading back to Honolulu where she is involved with the art community at Kaka‘ako.
