Arsenio Arreola Dolor
Arsenio Arreola Dolor of Puhi passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital March 8, 2013, at the age of 91. He was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on September 17, 1921, and retired from Coco Palms Hotel as grounds maintenance personal.
He is survived by his wife, Marta Segismundo Dolor; children, Clarita (Luis-deceased) Moises of Puhi, Teresita (Dominador) Tarape of Guam, Norma (Florentino) Villanueva of California, Emilia (Danilo) Guzman of Lihue, Generosa (Ernesto) Cantoria of California, Dante (Belinda) Dolor of Kapaa, Elsie (Ramirez) Dolor of Hanamaulu, Gilbert Dolor of Puhi; 22 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013, at Immaculate Conception Church with viewing from 8:00 a.m. and Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Dolor family with arrangements.
Wendy Hustad
Wendy Hustad passed away on March 19, 2013 at Wilcox Hospital at the age of 58. She was born on July 29, 1954; she worked as a Preschool Director at All Saints Preschool.
She is survived by her love of her life Warren Dastrup; daughter, Kara Dastrup; step-children’s; David Dastrup; Kim Dastrup; and Ben Dastrup; 10 grandchildren and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at All Saints Church, Kapaa and services at 3:00 pm.
Arrangements are handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens.
Laurel Lynn Machado
Laurel Lynn Machado of Kapaa, Kauai, passed away on March 12, 2013 at home at the age of 58. Born on August 16, 1954, in California, she was a seamstress and horse lover.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Edna Adamczuk. She is survived by her husband, Roy Machado; sons, Vaughn Machado of California and Ray Machado of Kapaa; daughters, Regina (Dustin) Keale of Anahola and Leila Machado of Kapaa; brother, Howard (Deb) Adamczuk of California; sister Gayle (Frank) Larkin of California; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at 5807 Kawaihau Road, Kapaa. Friends and families may visit at 10:30 a.m. Service starts at 11:00 a.m. A luncheon to celebrate Lynn’s Life will be held for family and friends following the service.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.

Jill Nicole Garnett of Waimea, Kauai, Hawaii formerly of Sunset Beach, California passed away on March 16, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 26. She was born on April 3, 1986 in Huntington Beach, California.
She was a manager for Napali Boat Cruises.
She is preceded in death by: father, Michael Garnett. She is survived by: mother, Kim Garnett, Sunset Beach, California; brothers, Joseph Garnett, Huntington Beach, California; David Garnett, Huntington Beach, California; numerous aunties and uncles, cousins and friends.
