Domingo Laranio
Domingo Don Laranio of Kapaa passed away at Garden Isle Health Care on February 17, 2013, at the age of 88. He was born in Kapaa on January 4, 1925, and retired as a tour bus driver with Gray Line Tours. Preceded in death by his wife, Helen Laranio; daughters, April and Hazel Rellin; brothers, Bacillio Dick Laranio, Francisco Cisco Omaya; sisters, Helen Mandrial and Mary Rasay.
He is survived by nine children, Martha (Dennis) Kaminski, Dolores (William) Barry, Annie Rellin, Sheila (Ralph) Schmarje, Timothy Laranio, Wayne (Leilani) Laranio, Carmela Cabacungan, Novella (Lawrence) Natividad, Domingo (Cassie) Laranio; numerous step-children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Kauai Veterans Cemetery pavilion with visitation services beginning at 1:30 p.m. and services at 2:00 p.m.
Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home assisted the Laranio family with arrangements.

Coleen Ruth Apuna Rivera, 62, of Kahakuloa, Maui, passed away on February 19, 2013 at her residence. She was born on May 4, 1950 in Honolulu.
Coleen was predeceased by her parents, Andrew & Paulita Apuna; brothers, Robert Bobby Enfield, and Neil Apuna Sr.
Coleen is survived by her husband, Ronald Rivera Sr.; daughter, Michele (Tracy) Rivera Spacek; sons, Ronald (Russandra) Rivera Jr., and Brannon (Leilah) Rivera; brothers, Donald Hoopii, Andrew Apuna Jr., Nathan Apuna, Reggie Apuna, and Kealoha Apuna; sisters, Eileen Vidinha, Rhonda Tandal, Andrea Sweetie Hamasaki, Bernadette Janicki, and Bernardine Cypher; and 16 grandchildren.
Memorial services on Kauai will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Kauai Baptist Temple. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with services starting at 11 a.m.
Arrangements are being handled by Ballard Family Mortuary.

Salvador Peralta Jr. of Brydeswood, Kalaheo, passed away on March 4, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 59. Born on April 10, 1953, in Lihue, Kauai, he was a Plant Operator/Lead Truck driver with Aloha Petroleum, Ltd. in Nawiliwili.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Ann Peralta; sons, Sheldon Troy (Kristyn Ishibashi) Peralta of Lihue; Brandon Lee (Sharleen) Peralta of Kekaha; Gavin Lance (Cheryl Monis) Peralta of Kalaheo, Joshua Michael (Christyann) Peralta of Omao, and Hanai son, Bruce Kanoho of Eleele; eight grandchildren, Tyralyn Peralta, Shandon, Shayden, Kaylieann, Xaedan, Jaemryn, Brandon and Braxton Simpliciano; mother, Felomina Villanida; brothers, John S. Peralta of Las Vegas, Bernard (Corrine) Peralta of Kalaheo, Ronnie Peralta of Kekaha, Ferdinand Peralta of Washington, and Willard G. (Susanna) Peralta of Maui; and sisters, Gwenie Luii of Washington, and Bernadette Devitt of Wailua.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at the Holy Cross Catholic Church, with viewing from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, and Mass to be celebrated at 11:00 am. Cremation will follow.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

She is preceded in death by: parents, Alejandro & Soriano Butac; husband, Filemon Aguinaldo.
She is Survived by: Pastor (Naty) Aguinaldo; Ernesto (Belen) Aguinaldo; Wilson (Hermina) Aguinaldo; Landrino (Lily) Aguinaldo; Weslie (Lilibeth) Aguinaldo; daughter, Glorina Aguinaldo; Rosnelie (Casimiro) Rumbaoa; Lucrecia (Jerold) Sagucio; Nora Montero; Marlene (Danny) Jarquio; Rowena Aguinaldo; sisters, Candelaria Galo; Cornelia Sagucio; 35 grandchildren & 22 great grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday March 15, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa, and visitation from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday March 16, 2013 at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Church, Kapaa. Burial to follow at Saint Catherine’s Catholic Cemetery.

He was employed by the State of Hawaii.
He is preceded in death by: parents, Albert and Christina Kali; brothers, Samuel, Albert, John, Alexander, Lot, and Patrick; sister, Olga Holi.
He is survived By: wife, Alberta Jardin Kali; daughter, Clarice Kaleolani Kali;
son, Peter “PK” Kali; sisters, Christina Kali; Hyacinth Miller; Gladys Tawata; Carol Edwards; and Emma DeCosta; brothers, Henry and Anthony Kali; grandson, Kalen Kamalanikaumaka Kakutani; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
