Congratulations to Dana Roberts of Malie who opened the doors to its new shop at The Shops at Kukui‘ula!
Stacie Chiba Miguel has been busy getting ready for the Koloa Elementary School visit.
Things are really popping at The Kaua‘i Culinary Market — not only did the Koloa School kids come down, Ray Gampon and her Girl Scout troops were out in force with Girl Scout cookies. Coryssa Silva (she was a KAGRA rodeo winner) and her mom Elice Parraga-Silva were helping out while the other Scouts were tied up with a video project at the Kiahuna Plantation.
Theresa Koki was trying to hurry through the art display (it’s on again today from 6 to 8 p.m.) so she could check out Troy Lazaro and the Zumba event for Kaua‘i Special Olympics.
Waimea athletic director Jon Kobayashi was checking out the Koloa ‘ukulele band before heading off to the KIF softball game in Lihu‘e.
Okay, it’s off to check out the sweet bread pickup with Ellen Ching, LizAnn Vidinha and all the Easter Seals people at the Lawa‘i Cannery garage sale Sunday.
