Toni Jeffries
Toni Jeffries died peacefully at her home in Moloa’a on February 9, 2013, at the age of 65. She was born in Washington on December 24, 1947, and retired from Growing Greens Nursery.
She is survived by her husband, Craig “Agent” Jeffries; daughter, Maghan Lopez; one grandson; brother, Billy Knapp; numerous cousins, nieces and many friends.
Private memorial services will be held. Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
Donations made to the Kauai Humane Society in Toni’s name.
Kauai Memorial Gardens assisted the Jeffries family with arrangements.
Tina Nakaahiki
Tina Marie Hug Nakaahiki of Hanapepe, Kauai, Hawaii passed away on February 17, 2013 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 46. Born on July 30, 1966 in Honolulu, Oahu, she was a housekeeping supervisor at Poipu Kapili.
She is survived by her husband, Bailey Nakaahiki, Kauai; daughters, Misty (Chad) Smith, Washington, and Jaimelee Nakaahiki, Kauai; son, Brandon (Nicole) Nakaahiki, Kauai; parents, Thomas and Luella Hug, Washington; sister, Lori (Rory) Yee-Kahala, Washington; brother, Kui (Heather) Hug, Washington; grandchildren, Anu Smith, and Emmy Nakaahiki; numerous aunties and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday February 23, 2013 at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel, Koloa. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with services starting at 10:00 a.m.
Family suggests casual attire.

Rudy Alao
Rudy R. Alao of Kalaheo, Kauai passed away peacefully at home on February 12, 2013 at the age of 59. He was born on July 12, 1953 in Lihue, Kauai. He was a retired scale attendant with the County of Kauai and an Air Force Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Zoilo Alao, and Rosella Kuarom Alao; and sister, Peggy Alao Basuel.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Silva Alao of Kalaheo; sons, Jensen and Gerald Alao, both of Kalaheo; brothers, Dennis Alao, Larry (Penny) Alao, Eric (Jeri) Alao, Quintin (Nicole) Alao, Gaivin (Gemma) Alao, and Vince (Essie) Alao; sisters, Lydia (John) Schornach, Rena (Blu) Ulanday, Janise (Kevin) Gusman, Norma Alao, and Zelda (Nolan) Alvarado; father and mother-in-law, Charles “Joe” Silva and Lillian Muraoka Silva; brother-in-law, Charlie (Della) Silva, sisters-in-law, Carolyn (Ronnie) Dotario, Theresa (George) Castillo, Bonnie (Mala) Lanning, and Lynn (Teddy) Perreira; and extended family.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo. Visitation will start at 9:00 am with mass to be celebrated at 10:00 am.
Burial will follow at the Kauai Veteran’s Cemetery in Hanapepe.
The family suggests casual or aloha attire.
Donation may be made in lieu of flowers to Kauai Hospice.
