LIHU‘E — The 9th Annual Kaua‘i Wellness Expo featured more than 70 diverse vendors, nonprofits to entrepreneurs, including Western and Eastern medical doctors, chiropractors, naturopaths, Hawaiian culture practitioners and more.
Organizer Char Ravelo said the event focused on “all facets of medical healing.”
“It was bigger than expected,” she said. “It was totally exciting to watch the interactions amongst the practitioners … knowing that this weekend opened many hearts and minds to learning, sharing and caring more for our island families and communities around the world.”
Ravelo said she enjoyed watching everyone engage in spontaneous networking filled with conversation and connections, as well as seeing people learn about new products and try them out.
The event was held Feb. 9 and 10 at the Kaua‘i War Memorial Convention Hall.
