To say Ron Horoshko is excited is an understatement since he gets to open the doors to Birdie’s Saturday at the Kukuiolono Golf Course.

Chara Gross, one of the eatery’s managers, said pricing is simple $7 for breakfast, $8 for lunch and $7 for pupu … simple. And you can even have some of Ron Horoshko’s mother’s Swedish pancakes.

Sharron Weber and Carol Pratt got a preview of what is happening when the ladies’ golf group got to celebrate Arleen Robinson’s birthday (if you missed Eldean Scott’s birthday cake, you missed more than cake!) following a round of golf Wednesday. And Sharron and Carol still had the LBA golf to go.

Brandon Palacio and Casey Anacleto couldn’t make the playoff boys basketball game since they were helping at the opening of the county’s Division 3 games Monday said Karen Matsumoto.

Phil Baclayon, the Kapa‘a coach, Clyde Vito and Sean Andrade were busy with the playoff game, but were back at the Kalaheo Neighborhood Center Tuesday night where Coach Fran Constantino was playing the Supersonics’ last game for Division 1.
