PO‘IPU — The National Tropical Botanical Garden South Shore Visitors Center is set to host the Paint Our Garden watercolor workshop Sunday.
Local professional artists Marionette Taboniar, Patrice Pendarvis and Dawn Lundquist will offer the opportunity to chose from one of three exciting and fun painting classes.
This workshop is held in conjunction with ‘Ohana Day at the NTBG South Shore gardens.
Taboniar’s class will focus on painting tropical flowers with watercolors. The cost is $40 per student, with a limit of eight students. For more information or to register, call Taboniar at 631-9173 or visit www.kauaiartclasses.blogspot.com.
North Shore artist Pendarvis will lead a class in watercolor landscapes. Registration is $40 and there is a limit of eight students. For more information or to register call 635-2930 or visit www.patricependarvis.com.

All classes run from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and materials are included in the price of registration. A portion of all proceeds will be donated directly to NTBG.
The event is sponsored by the Women Artists of Kaua‘i, which promotes the works of female artists on the island while raising funds for local charities.
