Renee Hamilton, executive director of The YWCA of Kaua‘i, accepts checks for more than $600 from the staff of FM97. The amount represents proceeds from the radio station’s The Sale promotion which ran from July through September. Under terms of the promotion, listeners would guess the sale price of a featured item from 97 cents to $9.97. If successful, the winning listener could opt to donate the amount to benefit the YWCA. The radio station also contributed the winning sale price to the YWCA. Making the presentation are Jason Fujinaka, FM97 on-air personality, Hamilton, John Wada, general manager of FM97, Ron Wood, FM97 on-air personality, and Val Rynda, FM97 sales manager.
