Kenny Ishii of Ono Family Restaurant (he was at the Kaua‘i Love Elvis event Friday) said the kendama kiosk boys will be helping host a kendama tournament at the Feb. 2 First Saturday event in the parking lot of the Ono Ono Shave Ice.

Jessie Castro is an East Kaua‘i Y’s Mens member so got to photograph the 30th annual Keiki Fun Run Saturday.
Wendy Tannery had to work the basketball game Friday night and the soccer game Saturday morning, but was able to squeeze in the run to watch Cheyanne (she was a winner at the KAGRA and High School rodeo) run.
Cheyanne (anyone got scholarships for rodeo?) said she’s been running the event since before she can remember.
Hats off to Donna Schulze who was able to amass 32 bikes to give away (that’s more than one bike for each year the event has run).
