So, what are you doing, Monday? It’s a holiday and Mele Brewer of the Kaua‘i Humane Society said keiki can spend the day at Critter Camp from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Before that, Lorna Santos will have the Lawa‘i Cannery Self Storage big (!) garage sale, Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. — got to go early for parking, and the early bird specials.
Pat Pannell and Loren Kayfetz said tickets benefiting the Kaua‘i United Way for three worl- class musicians from the Lincoln Center are still available for the Sunday 2 p.m. event at the Grand Hyatt Resort and Spa. Musicians are Ani Kavafian, Yura Lee and Laurence Lesser with KQNG Radio’s Ron Wiley (he’s in the body challenge at the Kaua‘i Athletic Club) doing the live auction.
Jane Gray of the Kaua‘i Museum said space for the Feb. 1 pa‘ina is filling up fast because Mark Oyama is offering a Chinese menu in honor of Chinese New Year. She encourages those interested in enjoying the Chinese lunch and entertainment to make reservations early before it fills up.
OK, this is a long weekend, so stay safe, Kaua‘i!
