According to a press release, Ocean Safety Bureau officials have closed all north shore beaches today due to high surf and strong currents.
Waves with faces between 15- to 30-feet high have been reported resulting in hazardous ocean conditions.
Beachgoers are urged to go to other guarded beaches on the island including: Lydgate; Po’ipu; or Salt Pond.
