Virginia “Lorraine” Moniz
Virginia Lorraine Moniz of Kalaheo, Kauai passed away on December 5, 2012 at Kauai Veteran Memorial Hospital at the age of 86. Born on June, 27, 1926 in Koloa, Kauai, she was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest “Casey” Moniz.
She is survived by her daughter, Antonia Moniz; sons, Ernest (JoAnne) Moniz, John (Faith) Moniz, and Stacy (Bonny) Moniz; sisters, Agnes Costa, and Margaret Gouveia; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo at 9:00 am and mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am.; inurnment to follow at Kauai Veterans Cemetery in Hanapepe.

Erlinda Mangayayam
Erlinda Alonajan Mangayayam of Kekaha, Kauai passed away on December 11, 2012 at Straub Hospital at the age of 53. Born on December 13, 1958 in the Philippines, she was a housekeeper.
She is survived by her husband, Armondo Mangayayam; sons, Edward Mangayayam, Armondo Mangayayam, Jr., and Dan Mangayayam; father, Bridedo Alonajan; brother, Marding (Amy) Alonajan; and 1 grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Theresa’s Church in Kekaha from 8:00 am to 9:45 am. Where mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am; burial to follow at Kekaha Public Cemetery.

Kenneth Morimoto
Kenneth Keigo Morimoto of Kaneohe passed away on November 27, 2012 at Kuakini Medical Center at the age of 81. Born on December 16, 1930 in Honolulu, HI, he was a retired salesman for Fuller O’Brien.
He was preceded in death by Masaru Morimoto, and Kameyo (Okamoto) Morimoto.
He is survived by his wife, Kazue Morimoto; Gail E. Morimoto; Melvin Morimoto; Evelyn Marumoto, Troy Yamamoto, Karen Sakai.
Services will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Hosoi Mortuary. Visitation will begin at 2:30, with service to follow at 3:30 pm.
Family requests casual attire and that no flowers are presented at this time.
