LIHU‘E — Green waste is not being accepted at all refuse transfer stations due to safety concerns caused by muddy conditions in their drop-off areas, a county news release states.
Scrap metal services are also suspended at the Hanapepe and Kapa‘a locations because of the weather.
Green waste and scrap metal services will resume when conditions improve.
