Kevin Koichi Iwai
Kevin Koichi Iwai of Waimea, Kauai, died on November 23, 2012 at home at the age of 60. Born on February 18, 1952, in Waimea, he was a Terminal Operator with Kauai Petroleum.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sumiko Iwai.
He is survived by his wife, Benjinette “Pili” Nakaahiki Iwai; son, Ridge Luimailana Silva-Vidinha of Waimea; daughters, Erica A.K. (Pua) Iwai of Waimea and Kerri-Anne Y.K. (Kana) Iwai of Waimea; father, Yoshio Iwai; brother, Lonne Iwai of Waipahu; and numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel in Lawai. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., service starts at 11 a.m.

Katherine Russell
Katherine Ann Russell of Kapaa passed away at home on December 5, 2012, at the age of 61. She was born in California on October 16, 1951, and was a healer.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Russell.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2012, from 11 a.m. To 1 p.m. at 5245A Kaehulua Road in Kapaa.
Kauai Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home assisted the Russell family with arrangements.
Georgette Guerrero-Murdah
Georgette Yoko Guerrero-Murdah of Anahola, Kauai passed away on December 1, 2012 at her home in Anahola at the age of 36. Born on January 12, 1976 in Hilo, Hawaii, she was a Receptionist for Kauai Humane Society.
She is survived by her husband, Craig Murdah of Anahola; mother, Caroline Guerrero of Oahu; father, Benjamin Guerrero, Jr. of Hilo; brother, Benjamin Guerrero of Honolulu; and numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins in Hilo.
Celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Kauai Humane Society at 11:30 am.

Ann Yukie Takeuchi
Ann Yukie Takeuchi of Lusby, Maryland (formerly of Kekaha, Kauai) passed away on October 26, 2012 at St. Mary’s Hospital at the age of 46. Born on March 17, 1966 at KVMH, Waimea, Kauai, she was an executive secretary at St. Mary’s Hospital, Leonardtown, Maryland.
She was preceded in death by her father, Shigeo Takeuchi; paternal grandparents, Tamekichi and Yoshiko Takeuchi; and maternal grandparents, Akira and Toshiko Obatake.
She is survived by her mother, Eleanor (Obatake) Takeuchi; sisters, Jan (Alan) Matsumoto, and Joy Pigao; niece, Kiana; fiancée and long time companion, Robert E. North, Jr.; and numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins.
A Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 at Kauai Bible Church, 2-4131 Kaumualii Highway. Service will begin at 12 p.m.; a private scattering of ashes will be held at a later date.
The family requests casual attire, and that no flowers be presented at this time.
