Kaua‘i High School will open the action at 4:30 p.m. against the visiting Maui High School team followed by Waimea taking on Lahainaluna starting at 6 p.m.
The nightcap will feature the Kapa‘a Warriors Green team taking on the White team starting at 7:30 p.m.
Friday action will see the Kapa‘a Green team taking on Waimea starting at 4:30 p.m. followed by Lahainaluna matching up against Kaua‘i High School starting at 6 p.m.
The presentation of the Student Athlete Award will punctuate the game action following the Lahainaluna match ahead of the nightcap when Maui takes on Kapa‘a White starting at 7:30 p.m.
Saturday is the final day of action in the tournament with Lahainaluna opening the arena against Kapa‘a White starting at 10 a.m.
Kapa‘a Green takes on Kaua‘i with an 11:30 a.m. tipoff followed by Maui taking on Waimea in the 1 p.m. match.
The Kapa‘a High School boys basketball team has a rigorous pre-season schedule, according to a schedule released by Philip Baclayon, coach for the Kapa‘a program.
The Warriors take off for O‘ahu where they meet Waialua on Dec. 19 at 1 p.m. followed by a game against Island Pacific Academy in Kailua, O‘ahu on Dec. 20 starting at 7:30 p.m.
On Dec. 21, Kapa‘a will face Christian Academy in Kailua starting at 7:30 and on Dec. 22, the Warriors wrap up its O‘ahu trip against Lejardin Academy starting at 4:30 p.m. in Kailua.
Kapa‘a returns home to host the Kapa‘a Holiday Tournament on Dec. 27 through 29 with the tournament schedule and participating teams to be announced.
The Kaua‘i Interscholastic Federation boys basketball season opens Jan. 2, when Kaua‘i hosts Waimea at the Kaua‘i High School gym and Kapa‘a hosts Island School at the Bernice Hundley Gym for a Junior Varsity exhibition at 5:30 p.m.
The JV match at Kaua‘i High School will also tip off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the varsity matchup starting approximately 20 minutes following the completion of the JV game.
