Happy birthday to Nadine Nakamura who celebrated her special day in the midst of all the holiday craft fair activity at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Kapa‘a Saturday!
Penny Young was busy on the other side of town, getting ready for the Waimea tree and town lighting ceremony, but said she was going to Nadine’s birthday party following the Waimea event.
Kudos to Jody McCune at Chiefess Kamakahelei Middle School and Sybil Nishioka at the All Saints Church for getting all the craft fairs together.
Mary Lardizabal of the Kapa‘a Middle School (isn’t Gary Shimabukuro speaking at their Winter ‘Ohana Night tonight?) was busy checking out the activity ahead of the Kapa‘a Middle School choir and ‘ukulele band’s 30 appearances between now and Christmas, and Mary takes a week off in between to visit her folks on the Mainland!
Caroline Manera (kudos on a great Chamber After Hours on Thursday!) was learning some new words from Annette Hashimoto at the All Saints craft fair, but I don’t know who has more words, Carol or Annette.
OK, time to go check out Nadine’s inauguration.
