PUHI — The Kaua‘i Humane Society is hosting a Santa Paws photo session Dec. 8 and Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Families are invited to take a holiday photo with a professional photographer for $35.
There will also be adoption specials, and those who adopt on either of those two days will be offered a Santa Paws photo session for $10.
Santa will be on hand, and there are seasonal props available. Participants will receive a disc of photos from their session.
No appointment is necessary.
Santa Paws weekend adoption specials include: all cats more than 6 months are $10, kittens are 2 for 1 at $60, and adult dogs are available for $25. Additional donations are appreciated.
“Every time an animal gets a loving home we feel like we have been given a gift. It makes it feel like Christmas every day,” said Kate Krieg, community outreach coordinator for Kaua‘i Humane Society. “We want to give something back so we are lowering adoption fees in order to make sure that giving a homeless pet a home for the holiday is within every pet lover’s reach.”
