Williams to manage Lodge at Koele on Lana‘i
LANA‘I CITY — Ian Williams has been named manager of Four Seasons Resort Lana‘i, The Lodge at Koele.
In his new role, Williams will oversee the rooms and laundry divisions at the 102-room resort.
His family originates from Kaua‘i, and he makes the move back to back to the Hawaiian Islands from Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, where he most recently served as director of housekeeping for the 285-room hotel.
Williams, a 15-year veteran of Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, worked in various management roles in Southern California.
Prior to Los Angeles, Williams was with Four Seasons Resort Biltmore Santa Barbara in various roles including director of housekeeping, guest service manager, resort assistant manager and assistant spa manager.
Hawaiian Airlines president renews contract
HONOLULU — Hawaiian Airlines President and Chief Executive Officer Mark B. Dunkerley signed a new three-year contract extension to continue leading the airline through 2016.
“Mark’s leadership in the development and successful execution of Hawaiian’s long term business plan has been exemplary, and the Board is pleased that he will continue to lead the evolution of the business for years to come,” said Lawrence Hershfield, board chair of Hawaiian Holdings LLC.
“I’m thrilled to be continuing at Hawaiian Airlines,” Dunkerley said. “It’s a privilege to work with everyone at our company and I am more excited about the prospect of what lies ahead for our company than at any other time in my years at Hawaiian.”
